練り込みクジラ椀

土を組み合わせて模様を作る「練り込み技法」で、クジラと波の文様を描きました。
絵付けではなく、土を使って模様を描いているので、カップの内側にも外側にも同じように柄があり、食卓をより楽しく彩ってくれます。
かぼちゃの煮物などの副菜を盛りつけたり、お茶漬けや卵かけごはんなど、少し大きめのお茶碗としてもお使いいただけます。ヨーグルトやグラノーラを入れて、朝食やおやつの時間にも。
茶溜まりはありませんが、抹茶茶碗としてもお使いいただけます。
透明な釉薬をかけているので、つやがあり、お手入れもしやすくなっています。
手作業で仕上げているため、模様の出方に少しずつ個性があります。

Using the nerikomi technique—combining different clays to create patterns—I depicted a whale and waves in motion.
Because the design is made with clay itself, the pattern appears both inside and outside the cup, adding a playful and artistic touch to your table.
It's perfectly sized for serving side dishes like simmered pumpkin, or for enjoying a slightly larger bowl of rice, such as with ochazuke or tamago-kake gohan.
You can also use it for yogurt or granola, making it ideal for breakfast or snack time.
Although there is no tea well (chadamari), it can also be used as a matcha bowl.
Finished with a clear glaze, it has a smooth, glossy surface that’s easy to clean.
Handcrafted individually, each item features subtle differences in the pattern.
